Launched in July, the Alienware Arena is an ongoing series of gaming events operated by iGames and CEVO and presented by Alienware®, Dell's premier, high-performance PC gaming brand representing premium power and performance for gamers and technology enthusiasts alike.
The Lock and Load Tournament is set to be the last great mission for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare players prior to the ultra highly anticipated release of Modern Warfare 2 in November. With free entry and cash prizes, the competitive community is expected to come in force.
Up to 128 teams will compete through two stages of double-elimination play beginning October 1st and culminating with the Championships on Saturday, November 7 featuring the top 8 teams in a battle to the bittersweet end. The Championships will be streamed live on the Alienware Arena portal with commentary by community broadcasters from PwnageTV.
