The application process is open to all eighth graders in the Syracuse City School District, with a lottery system in place if the number of applicants exceeds the available spots. The school will offer advanced courses, hands-on learning experiences, and partnerships with local businesses and institutions like Syracuse University and SUNY ESF. It will also feature unique programs such as a culinary arts track and a focus on sustainability. The application deadline is set for February 29, 2024, with the lottery to be held in March 2024.
