The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has launched the second edition of its "Engineering and You" programme, aimed at sparking interest in engineering among secondary school students. The initiative, which kicked off in April 2025, seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application by providing students with hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned engineers. The programme includes workshops, site visits, and interactive sessions designed to demystify engineering concepts and inspire the next generation of engineers. NSE President, Engr. John Eze, emphasized the importance of early exposure to engineering to increase the number of students pursuing careers in the field, ultimately contributing to national development.
