Kulicke & Soffa Appoints Alan Schindler as Senior Vice President, Global Operations

SINGAPORE--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Kulicke & Soffa Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: KLIC) ("K&S") today announced the appointment of Alan Schindler as the Senior Vice President, Global Operations, effective April 1, 2011. Schindler will relocate to the K&S global headquarters in Singapore.

Schindler has been with the Company since 1992, and has held multiple key positions in operations and supply chain management, including Vice President, Ball Bonder Operations in Singapore. He is currently Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain and Operations. He will succeed Shay Torton who will be leaving the Company on June 30, 2011 after a long and successful career of almost 20 years at K&S.
