










WELLPOINT SYSTEMS INC. ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF ASSET SALE AND PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH ECLIPSE COMPUTING (AUSTRALIA) PTY LTD

CALGARY, March 11 /CNW/ - WellPoint Systems Inc. ("WellPoint" or the "Company") (TSXV: WPS) announces that Ernst & Young Inc., in its capacity as court appointed receiver and manager of WellPoint (the "Receiver"), has closed an asset sale and purchase agreement with Eclipse Computing (Australia) Pty Ltd. (the "Purchaser") whereby the Receiver sold WellPoint's DAXEM Computer Software and certain related assets (collectively, the "Assets") to the Purchaser (the "Purchase Agreement"). The purchase price to be paid by the Purchaser to the Receiver for the Assets, exclusive of GST/HST, is USD $717,062.47.
