XIO Strategies Names New Vice President of Supply Chain Consulting

VIENNA, VA--(Marketwire - March 10, 2011) - XIO Strategies, a member of the Cubic Corporation (NYSE: [ CUB ]) family of companies specializing in supply chain management and communications consulting in the government and commercial sectors, has appointed Robert Marcinek as Vice President of Supply Chain Consulting, further strengthening the company's expertise in supply chain and logistics within the Department of Defense (DoD) market. Cubic recently expanded its operations in the Washington, D.C. metro area with its acquisition of [ XIO Strategies ] to focus on better supporting Department of Defense and commercial logistics customers.

Marcinek has served in a wide range of senior management positions within the DoD including Chief Information Officer for the Army's Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), and as Executive Director of Enterprise Solutions for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). He also served as the Commander for the Defense Logistics Agency's deployed forces in Afghanistan, providing the full spectrum of logistics support including food, fuel, medical supplies, construction material and repair parts to sustain operations theater-wide.
