Globecomm Systems Awarded Multiple Contracts from Various Government Agencies Valued at $6.0 Million
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM), a leading provider of satellite-based communications infrastructure solutions and services on a global basis, announced today that the Company has received multiple contract awards from various Government agencies valued at $6.0 million.
The contracts include L band terminal upgrades with technology refresh initiatives including L band frequency architecture, with related subsystems, and Globecomm's AxxSys Orion Monitor and Control System. Globecomm anticipates the upgrades to be completed in the Company's fiscal 2010 second quarter ending December 31, 2009.
