CLEVELAND, OH and IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - January 6, 2009) - [ Agilysys, Inc. ] (NASDAQ: [ AGYS ]), a leading provider of innovative IT solutions and [ Vangard Voice Systems, Inc. ] (Vangard), the innovative provider of the [ AccuSpeech® Mobile Voice Platform ] for voice powering mobile enterprise applications, today announced a partnering agreement to voice-enable a wide selection of Agilysys' market-leading retail solutions. Vangard's Mobile Voice Platform (MVP) now is used to voice-enable applications offered in the NextVision™ by Agilysys Web-based mobile and wireless retail software suite. Customers utilizing NextVision now can further optimize retail operations by selecting optional voice-powered capabilities for data entry, application function commands and navigation capabilities.

Agilysys chose Vangard's Mobile Voice Platform for its ability to quickly and non-invasively add sophisticated voice capabilities to the company's Web-based retail applications. NextVision mobile and wireless solutions can now deliver complete device-resident voice capabilities on a wide variety of mobile devices.
