The IDT DisplayPort™ compatible receiver, PanelPort™, was one of 10 digital, memory and programmable ICs recognized by the publication's readership and editorial staff as hot products for 2008. EDN praised the honorees in a special report published in the publication's December 18, 2008 issue for representing "the best of the best — the products and technologies that in 2008 really grabbed the attention of our editors and our readers."

The IDT PanelPort device offers original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) a fully certified and compliant DisplayPort technology. Moreover, the IDT PanelPort device provides an increased level of digital signal integrity by significantly reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI) on all flat panel display interfaces by utilizing IDT spread spectrum clocking technology.
