  • Women make up just 17.6% of senior leaders in private hi-tech companies and just 24.3% of board members in public companies, the report highlighted.

The article from MSN discusses the persistent underrepresentation of women in Israel's high-tech sector, despite some progress. According to the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA), women make up only 34% of the tech workforce, with even fewer in senior management roles. Efforts to increase female participation include initiatives like the "Mind the Gap" program, which aims to integrate more women into tech roles. Despite these efforts, the pace of change is slow, highlighting the need for continued focus and action to achieve gender equality in the tech industry.
