MELVILLE, N.Y.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced the retirement of Patrick T. Crowley as Vice President of Research and Development of the Company.

Since Pat joined Park Electrochemical Corp. in April 1998, he has held a number of key management positions with the Company. He was Vice President of Research and Development from April 2009 until his retirement; President of Nelco Products Pte. Ltd., Parka™s high-technology electronics circuitry materials and advanced composite materials business unit located in Singapore, from September 2008 to February 2009; President of Neltec, Inc., Parka™s high-technology electronics circuitry materials business unit located in Tempe, Arizona, from August 2005 to September 2008; and President of Neltec Europe SAS, Parka™s electronics circuitry materials business unit located in Mirebeau, France, from October 2004 to May 2005. From 1998 to 2004, he was Quality Assurance Manager at Neltec, Inc.

Brian Shore, Parka™s President and CEO said: aI am very grateful to Pat for all he has done for Park over the years. Pat has always been there for Park when Park had a need. Pat dropped everything and moved to Mirebeau, France on a momenta™s notice when we unexpectedly had a need for a General Manager of our business there. Pat moved to Singapore to serve as interim General Manager of our Asian business unit when Park had an urgent need for an interim General Manager in Singapore. Pat is a stand-up guy. He is old-school, and I am afraid they dona™t make too many like him any more. Thank you, Pat, for all you have done for Park over the years. Although I am sure we will be in touch, we will miss having you around every day. It wona™t be quite the same without you. Good luck to you, Pat, in your retirement. Thank you again.a
