DRILLING SET TO COMMENCE SHORTLY ON CAROLAY SILVER VEIN
MONTREAL, Dec. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - (TSX-V: SSM): "One of the things that sets Peru apart as a mining jurisdiction," said Lorne Woods, President and CEO of Sunset Cove Mining, "is that in order to proceed to the drilling stage, you have to gain community approval and I'm happy to say that Sunset Cove has just received that community approval."
"To get that approval you have to have good relations with the communities near to your project and the quick community approval we have received more than justifies that approach, said Woods."
In order to receive a drilling permit from the Ministry of Energy and Mines, Sunset Cove hosted a community approval workshop that ran for two days in mid-October with representatives from Sunset Cove, representatives from the Regional Directorate of Energy and Mines, La Libertad and representatives from the two communities, Huayobal and Ushnobal, closest to the mine.
