NCI Awarded $16.4 Billion Rapid Response-Third Generation ID/IQ Contract

RESTON, Va.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ:NCIT), a leading provider of information technology (IT), engineering, logistics, and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract for the Rapid Response-Third Generation (R2-3G) Program. The R2-3G program is a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC). This competitively awarded IDIQ has a five-year period of performance and has a total ceiling price of $16.4 billion for all awardees. This is a new contract for NCI, the award of which was previously discussed on a prior investor conference call.

NCI and our small and large business partners will provide technology insertion, system integration and installation, fabrication/prototyping, testing and certification, studies and analyses, logistic support services, training and engineering support services, including re-engineering and reverse engineering, for a range of equipment and services.

The contract is available to Department of Defense and other Federal, State and Local Government agencies. The Rapid Response Program offers R2-3G as a full system life cycle contracting vehicle and is suited for Homeland Security initiatives.
