MONTREAL, Dec. 2 /CNW Telbec/ - Prestige Telecom Inc. ("Prestige" or the "Company") (TSX-V: PR) is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Santerre Electrique, a division of Groupe Santerre ("Santerre"), resulting in the signing of a $31 million contract with Hydro-Québec for the upgrade of their telecom network.

This two-year contract calls for Prestige and Santerre to provide Hydro-Québec with combined services associated to the upgrade of their telecom network from analog to digital throughout the west and east corridors. More specifically, Prestige and Santerre will provide combined services of tower site design and construction, including electrical, engineering, civil works, construction services, technical and installation support, tower supply, tower maintenance and project management.
