Digital Angel Qualified to Sell Destron Fearing Animal ID Tags in Finland

PAUL, Minn.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Digital Angel (NASDAQ: DIGA), an advanced technology company in the field of animal identification and emergency identification solutions, announced today that Destron Fearing has been qualified to sell electronic identification tags in Finland. Destron Fearing became the first company to enter Finland and compete with Allflex, a French animal identification company, who had previously been the only qualified supplier of electronic identification tags for livestock.

Destron Fearing first entered Finland in 2009 when its readers were qualified and introduced as part of a web based farm management software solution ([ www.NeuroCattle.com ]) created by NeuroAgent Ltd., a Finnish company specializing in software solutions utilizing RFID technology.
