Brocade Channel Chief, Barbara Spicek, Recognized by Everything Channela?s CRN Magazine as One of the Top Women of the Channel

CRN Magazinea™s annual list recognizes female executives across vendorsa™ channel organizations, distributors and solution providers for their accomplishments over the past year and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward. This yeara™s Women of the Channel were chosen by the editors of CRN Magazine based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel.

Spicek was appointed vice president of Worldwide Channels at Brocade in February of 2009. Since then, she has led the Brocade channel organization in the development and implementation of a wide range of strategic initiatives to strengthen key channel relationships, most notably the global introduction of the Brocade Alliance Partner Network (APN) in May of 2009. Chartered with the mission of providing continual value to the channel, Spicek has been actively involved in the roll-out of new program elements to the APN, such as the Professional Services Program (PSP) and the addition of Brocade Specialized Partner designations, which enable partners to differentiate themselves in a competitive marketplace and drive additional revenue opportunities.
