Cooper Hunting to Expand into New Facilities
COTTAGE GROVE, Tenn., June 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cooper Hunting Industries, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SHAR), a specialty retailer marketing to outdoor and hunting enthusiasts is pleased to announce plans to expand into new operations facilities.
In August 2010 Cooper Hunting plans to break ground on a new 3,500 square foot facility which will house their inventory and offices. The facility will be fitted with three executive offices, one shipping office, a conference room, two restrooms, a break room and 2,500 square feet of warehouse space.
The warehouse will have one hundred eighty (180) feet of pallet racks which can hold up to 10,000 cubic feet of inventory. There will also be a loading dock for shipping and receiving as well as a new forklift. The entire facility will have the latest technology with all operations to be computerized.
"With most of our larger retailers being on a container program where they receive inventory directly, we have no need for a large storage facility. This is a major benefit when looking at operating cost and the bottom line." - Dan Cooper, President
