TechFaith's Disney Phone to Launch on July 6th

BEIJING--(Marketwire - June 23, 2010) - China Techfaith Wireless Communication Technology Limited (NASDAQ: [ CNTF ]) ("TechFaith") today announced it will launch a Disney-branded mobile phone on July 6, 2010 through Glomate Mobile (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of TechFaith.

M21, the first official Disney-branded mobile phone for the China market, is designed to target teenage mobile phone users. The trendy bar-style, quad band (900/1800 or 850/1900 option) GSM phone featuring high-quality MP3 functionality, will be available in three fashionable colors. Standard models will support SMS messaging, FM radio and Bluetooth capabilities.

Mr. Wayne Lu, the President of Glomate Mobile, stated, "The phones will be available through an integrated channel, including Disney authorized retailers, concept stores, major electronics mall and online stores. We are very optimistic about its potential. We will also be launching the Barbie branded phones after the Disney phones."
