Three-Year Agreement to Provide Live, Interactive Broadcasts with Real-Time Video Feeds from Team Locations

(OTC Bulletin Board: GLOW), a provider of [ managed services ] for [ telepresence ] and [ video conferencing ], has been chosen by a leading sports network, in a three-year agreement, to provide two-way video conferencing services to enable live, interactive broadcasts of team picks for the NBA basketball draft. For the first time, beginning this year, the network's draft coverage will feature interviews in High-Definition via Glowpoint's turnkey broadcast event services. Draft coverage begins at 7 p.m. EDT on Thursday, June 24, 2010. Depending on how many interviews are ultimately broadcast via Glowpoint's solutions, including its exchange and managed services, the sports network is projected to save as much as $100,000 as compared to reserving and utilizing satellite trucks and technologies.

The solution will enable NBA team officials, players, leading sports analysts and broadcasters to participate in real-time, 720p HD video interviews without the cost and technical challenges associated with traditional satellite signals. The two-way, live video feeds will be carried via Glowpoint's Telepresence interExchange Network (TEN) from 12 team locations throughout the country. Coverage will include a split-screen format, demonstrating Glowpoint's ability to provide high-quality connectivity in a live, televised application of video conferencing technology.
