CDW to Use SolarWinds Engineer's Toolset for Customer Network Assessments & Services Implementations

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - June 2, 2010) - SolarWinds® (NYSE: [ SWI ]), a leading provider of powerful, simple and affordable network management software to more than 93,000 customers worldwide, today announced an agreement with CDW, a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government and education, to deploy SolarWinds Engineer's Toolset to support network assessments and services implementations for CDW's customers.

CDW engineers will have access to SolarWinds Engineer's Toolset to evaluate an interested customer's network to determine how to improve performance and reliability, as well as to troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues.

Engineer's Toolset is an industry-trusted collection of real-time network monitoring tools that enables users to quickly address virtually any network issue from network discovery, configuration management and fault monitoring to detailed performance monitoring and NetFlow analysis. Engineer's Toolset was the first product introduced by SolarWinds, and remains a key element of SolarWinds' strategy to provide powerful and affordable solutions that solve the tough problems faced daily by network engineers.
