The "Best Channel Products 2009" awards were determined by value-added reseller (VAR) subscribers to Business Solutions magazine. During May and June, over 2,100 VARs submitted nearly 20,000 nominations for products, scoring them for richness of features/functionality, product reliability/durability, ease of integration, ease of upgrade, and VAR's ability to service. Based on the scores, the editors of the publication announced the top products in each of the 14 categories in their September issue.
"NetApp is honored to win this award and thankful for the recognition from our partners," said Julie Parrish, vice president of Global Channel Sales at NetApp. "We are particularly proud that our partners feel we provide them with best-in-class solutions, such as the FAS2000 system for the midmarket, that enable them to drive revenue and meet all the data management needs of their customers."
