An educator from Hampton, 1 in Londonderry, and 2 in Exeter will move on to the national Mathematics and Science Teaching awards.

The article from MSN discusses the recognition of three New Hampshire teachers as finalists for the 2023 Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). These teachers, from Exeter, Hampton, and Londonderry, are celebrated for their outstanding contributions to STEM education. The awards, which are the highest honor for K-12 science, technology, engineering, and math teachers in the U.S., highlight their innovative teaching methods and commitment to student success in STEM fields. The finalists include a middle school science teacher from Exeter, a high school math teacher from Hampton, and a high school science teacher from Londonderry. The winners will be announced later in the year and will receive a trip to Washington, D.C., along with a $10,000 award from the National Science Foundation.
