SARASOTA, Fla.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Global Technologies Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: GTGP) prepares for joint testing which is scheduled for this week and will run for an additional week will assess the compatibility of both technologies creating a new application for heavy metals, Low level radioactive waste {LLRW} and dewatering remediation. The combination of the technologies will provide substantial returns for both companies as the final treated product will have a substantial cost benefit as the fee for depositing LLRW material in a hazardous waste site can run as high as 1,000 per ton and with the ability of the MBS technology, it can be reduced to 50 dollars a ton in a non hazardous dump site. The tests are to be done by MSE Technology Applications, Inc. The MBS technology has been tested by the EPA and Brookhaven National Labs confirming that it has passed the 1,000 year test for non leach ability of LLRW in heavy metals which allows the waste to be de listed as hazardous.
