Cyclone Power Technologies and Its Partners Generate Strong Product Interest at Power-Gen International
POMPANO BEACH, Fla.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Cyclone Power Technologies ] (Pink Sheets: CYPW) reported exceedingly positive feedback at the recent Power-Gen International conference from customers, manufacturers and suppliers for its waste heat recovery and waste oil power generators offered by [ Phoenix Power Group LLC ] (PPG) and [ Clean Burn Inc ].
"From the response at this event alone, we believe demand for these clean-burning waste oil power generators will exceed expectations in 2011 and beyond."
aWe felt the show was an absolute success in terms of creating awareness and generating interest among potential customers around the world,a stated Clean Burna™s [President] Morris Mantley. aFrom the response at this event alone, we believe demand for these clean-burning waste oil power generators will exceed expectations in 2011 and beyond.a
Cyclone, PPG and Clean Burn intend on launching several dozen pilot programs in the first half of 2011 for the 10kW waste oil power generator called the Phoenix-10, and the small-scale industrial waste heat recovery unit called the WHE-GEN-10. Broader commercial sales of these units are anticipated to commence later in the year.
aWe thank Cyclone for organizing an excellent showing and, more importantly, developing a truly revolutionary engine system which had no comparables at the conference,a stated Doug Petty, Vice President of PPG, which also is a partner in Cyclonea™s waste heat recovery business. aWe must start using energy more efficiently for the sake of our environment, economy and national security. We believe that the Phoenix-10, and WHE-GEN-10, provides the first financially attractive solution of its kind for thousands of small business owners.a
The Phoenix-10 waste oil power generator is a compact unit that presents garages, lube shops, auto dealerships and other producers of used motor oil with a cash positive and environmentally friendly manner to recycle their waste materials. The WHE-GEN-10 provides up to 10kW of renewable power per unit (currently scalable up to 100kW) from the medium to high-grade waste heat of small industrial furnaces, ovens, kilns and flares. Both systems are powered by Cyclonea™s award-winning engine, the WHE-25.
aAs important as spending time with customers was our ability to meet with manufacturers and suppliers,a stated Cyclonea™s Executive Vice President, Christopher Nelson. aTo successfully grow from zero to over $40 million in estimated sales in a short period of time requires the support of strong partners, which we feel we have found.a
