First Liberty Power Is Pleased to Announce Successful Completion of Gravity Survey Field Work on Lida Valley Nevada Prospect

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - May 28, 2010) - First Liberty Power Corp. (OTCBB: [ FLPC ]) is pleased to announce that the field work stages of the gravity survey being conducted by GeoXplor Corp of the Company's Lida Valley Prospect (the LVW claims) is now complete. The survey team, led by Clive Ashworth and John Rudd of GeoXplor, and geophysicist Jim Hasbrouck completed 115 line kilometres consisting of 125 gravity stations readings on May 5, 2010. The data collected from the field work will be transferred to laboratories in Prescott, Arizona for analysis by Hasbrouck Consulting.

The information will help determine the depth of the basin and locate potential targets for the next step in our exploration program for the area."

The LVW claims share a similar geology and weathering history to nearby Clayton Valley, the LVW Claims are located within 15 miles of the Montezuma Peak, which is believed to be the source of the regions lithium. The north end of Clayton Valley hosts Chemetall Foote Corporation's Silver Peak Mine, the only lithium brine producer in the United States. Mine production comes from a lithium enriched brine located below the surface. This plant has been in production since 1967 and is designed to produce up to 1.2 million kilograms of lithium hydroxide per annum.
