QTS (Quality Technology Services), one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing providers of data center facilities and managed services, today announced that it has data center expert Simon Tusha has joined the company as its Chief Technology Officer. In the newly created role, Tusha will be responsible for the strategic development of all QTS services and technology deployments within its three and a half million square feet of data centers. His prime focus at QTS will be on the design, development and construction of all data center projects. He is the third key executive to join QTS' ranks this year.

Prior to working with Google, Tusha was co-founder of a MCE, a privately-held data center design, construction and management firm that provide operation design and management for the core data centers of JPMorgan Chase (

During the past seven months, QTS raised $150 million of equity capital from General Atlantic, completed redevelopments in Miami, Fl; Santa Clara, CA; commenced an $80 million, 130,000 square foot expansion at its Atlanta, GA Metro facility, acquired a 1.3 million square foot data center complex in Richmond, VA, and added three additional key executive officers, including Tusha, which underscores the company's continued commitment to providing industry leadership and sustained growth in the data center, colocation and managed service markets.
Tusha will be located in QTS' Virginia facility. He studied Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and is currently the executive sponsor of the RAACE foundation ([ www.RAACE.org ]), which is dedicated to awareness and prevention of child abuse everywhere.
