In the CEOcast interview Mr. van der Velden discusses Elephant Talk's plans to expand its software platform operations in Spain and The Netherlands to other countries to provide telecom companies, mobile network operators, banks, supermarkets and other businesses in global markets a complete suite of products and services, enabling them to fully provide telecom services as part of their business offerings. He also talks about the company's Mobile Virtual Network Operating (MVNO) Hosting Agreement with T-Mobile Netherlands BV, a division of the largest telecom operator in Europe, Deutsche Telekom AG that was announced in May. In addition, he explains why ETAK's subsidiary ValidSoft's proprietary product called VALid-POS for credit and debit fraud-prevention for banks will provide investors an opportunity to participate in combating the $100+ billion worldwide bank fraud crisis. This next generation technology has been recently awarded the European Privacy Seal, which has one of the most stringent certification processes in the world regarding European data privacy and protection law.

- ETAK is positioned as an outsource partner for both mobile network operators (MNOs) like T-Mobile and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) like Virgin Mobile. ETAK's MVNO Hosting Agreement with T-Mobile is to service a new MNVO initiative of T-Mobile Netherlands on the ETAK Mobile Virtual Network Enabling (MVNE) platform, which has increased functionalities and the ability to integrate new and existing services for customers without having any impact on the systems' connectivity for the end-users.
- For ETAK's MNO partners it provides a broad range of applications to the MVNO market, including tele-banking and tele-medicine. ETAK has access to network traffic data essential for routing calls between different network providers and identifying where a phone is located.
- ValidSoft adds a major dynamic because its solution, VALid-POS, addresses potential fraud in card present (ATM and point-of-sale) using mobile telephony. Currently, credit card companies incorrectly block legitimate transactions on an average of 9-out-of-10 times -- otherwise known as a false-positive. Costs to the card issuers can be more than the actual fraud losses.
- ValidSoft uses real-time telecommunications technologies to detect fraud as it occurs "invisibly" by using mobile telephony and sophisticated software. Once the fraud is identified, the bank or merchant and customer are instantly notified so they can take immediate action.
