Craig Wireless Systems Ltd. appoints new President

 WINNIPEG, June 9 /CNW/ - Craig Wireless Systems Ltd. ("Craig Wireless" or the "Company") (TSX: CWG) is pleased to announce that its board of directors has appointed Rod Vandenbos as President of the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Vandenbos brings over 21 years of technology leadership experience to this new role. He was most recently employed by Craig Wireless Palm Springs Inc., a subsidiary of the Company, as General Manager/Director of Business Development, where he was instrumental in the deployment of a 4G network in the Coachella Valley, California region. Prior to being engaged by the Company, he served as President of Digital Internet Services Corporation, one of the first and largest wireless Internet providers in the Southwest United States. Mr. Vandenbos has also been engaged as a contractor by a company controlled by Mr. T. Boyd Craig in connection with the deployment of a 4G network in Cambodia and in other countries in the region. As part of the arrangement with Mr. Vandenbos, the Company has agreed that it will permit Mr. Vandenbos to continue with his existing obligations unrelated to his duties as President of the Company in Southeast Asia, for which he will be compensated directly by a company controlled by Mr. T.
