The Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, on Wednesday, said the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun remains committed to enhancing access to quality education across the state.


The Ogun State Government has significantly invested in educational infrastructure by constructing 1,474 new classrooms and supplying 15,000 pieces of furniture to schools across the state. This initiative, as announced by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, aims to address the shortage of classrooms and improve the learning environment. The effort is part of a broader commitment to enhance educational facilities, ensuring that students have access to conducive learning spaces. Additionally, the government has focused on teacher training and welfare, with plans to recruit 1,000 new teachers to further bolster the education sector.
