Kris Gopalakrishnan, co-founder of Infosys, has been booked under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act following a complaint by a Dalit entrepreneur, Ramesh Babu. The case stems from an incident in 2016 where Babu alleges that Gopalakrishnan and his associates insulted him with casteist slurs during a business meeting. Babu claims that this verbal abuse led to significant mental distress and financial loss for his company, as the potential business deal was jeopardized.
