Days after the State Assembly passed the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2024 for the establishment of Chandigarh University Lucknow as a State (Private) University, Chandigarh University Lucknow has now received recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) to start academic courses from 2025-26 academic year.

Chandigarh University's new campus in Lucknow has received approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) to commence admissions for the 2025 academic session. The university will offer 43 undergraduate and postgraduate programs, all augmented with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance learning and skill development. These programs span across various disciplines including engineering, management, computer applications, and more, aiming to equip students with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills in AI. This initiative reflects the university's commitment to integrating advanced technology into education, preparing students for future industry demands.
