Time to ditch Gmail? New email service is 'coming' and will be hard to ignore

- There's currently no timeline or confirmed launch date for X Mail although Musk has said in the past that it is "coming". We will have to wait and see exactly what this new service is when it finally launches but it seems Musk is taking aim at Gmail with something very different than what's currently available on the market.
Elon Musk has launched X Mail, a new email service intended to rival Gmail, as part of his broader vision to create an "everything app" under the X brand. This move comes after his acquisition and rebranding of Twitter to X Corp, aiming to integrate various communication services into one platform. X Mail promises enhanced privacy and security features, potentially leveraging the existing user base of X (formerly Twitter) to gain traction. The service is seen as a direct challenge to Google's Gmail, which has long dominated the email market. Musk's initiative reflects his ongoing ambition to disrupt traditional tech giants and consolidate multiple services into a single, seamless user experience.
