A Singaporean woman, aged 40, passed away following a tragic car accident in Taiwan on January 13, 2023. The accident involved her family of three when their rental car, driven by her 44-year-old husband, crashed into a road divider and flipped over on National Highway No.3 in Changhua County. The couple's 11-year-old son sustained minor injuries. The family was on a holiday in Taiwan, having arrived on January 10. The husband, who was driving, is currently under investigation for negligent homicide, with authorities suspecting he might have fallen asleep at the wheel. The case has been forwarded to the Changhua District Prosecutors Office for further examination.
