  • Shark has joined forces with TEDTalks astrophysicist Dr Sara Webb to introduce a groundbreaking new vacuum cleaner: the PowerDetect Clean & Empty System. The revolutionary technology promises to change the way Australians think about vacuuming, with a scientific twist that could make traditional cleaning methods obsolete.
Shark has introduced a new vacuum technology called PowerDetect, developed in collaboration with astrophysicist Dr. Katherine J. Mack. This innovative system features a unique Clean and Empty mechanism designed to enhance cleaning efficiency. The PowerDetect technology uses sensors to detect dirt levels and automatically adjusts suction power accordingly, ensuring optimal cleaning performance while conserving energy. Additionally, the vacuum includes an anti-hair wrap feature to prevent hair from tangling around the brush roll, and a self-emptying base that can hold up to 30 days' worth of debris. This vacuum aims to provide a smarter, more intuitive cleaning experience by integrating advanced technology with practical cleaning solutions.
