LAS VEGAS--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Bally Technologies, Inc. ] (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino-management, interactive and mobile applications, and networked systems for the global gaming industry, today announced an enterprise-wide agreement with British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) to replace their Class 3 Gaming Management System.
"The next phase with BCLC will commence to include planning, system integration, and pilot-site preparation. Together we expect to begin the implementation of sites in 2012 that will take approximately two to three years to complete."
The agreement includes Ballya™s systems being connected to more than 12,000 gaming devices at 34 sites, along with the award-winning [ iVIEW Display Managera" ] (DM) player-user-interface being connected to approximately 80 percent of BCLCa™s slot machines. Last November, the Company had announced that BCLC selected Bally as its preferred vendor to replace their Gaming Management System.
