



Prestige Telecom asks for an extension of the time for calling its annual general meeting

Prestige is required to call its annual general meeting by September 30, 2011 although corporate laws governing Prestige provide for the ability to apply for an extension of this deadline. The calling of a meeting at this point in time would not constitute the best use of the Company's management time and financial resources as it works towards furthering its strategic review process.
