Cbeyond to Host Charity Soccer Game to Support Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego

The event, which is open to the public, will take place Friday, October 21, 2011, at the Sportsplex in Poway, California.

Proceeds from aKicking for Wishesa will assist the Make-A-Wish Foundation in granting a wish for Kimberly, a local 16-year-old recently diagnosed with Synovial Cell Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. A passionate soccer fan, Kimberlya�s wish is to attend a game featuring her favorite team, Manchester United, and meet her favorite player, Javier aChicharitoa Hernandez.

During the event, four teams composed of Cbeyond employees, friends and family will compete in two soccer games to determine a champion. Each team is competing to raise at least $1,000 in donations and sponsorships that will ultimately support Kimberlya�s wish. Event attendees will also enjoy complementary food and drink while enjoying the games.
