REDLINE COMMUNICATIONS APPOINTS NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

TORONTO, May 16 /CNW/ - Redline Communications Group Inc. (TSX: RDL) ("Redline" or the "Company"), a leading provider of specialized broadband wireless systems, is pleased to announce that George Kypreos will join the Company as its new Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") effective immediately.

Kypreos, who brings significant public company experience, will be responsible for the management and direction of the company's finance and accounting organization that includes financial analysis, accounting, information technology, controls, budgeting, planning and forecasting.

"George brings the experience and skills we need to continue our drive to sustained profitability at a time when we're also growing our domestic and international operations and broadening our product line. He'll be a great addition to our senior leadership team," said Eric Melka, Redline's CEO.

Kypreos's career spans more than 20 years of continuously expanding responsibility, predominantly in the technology sector. He served most recently as Chief Financial Officer with TSX-listed Xenos Group Inc where he had overall responsibility for planning, directing and controlling the company's financial disclosure, taxation, and financial operations. Prior to this, he was Chief financial Officer of SAMSys Technologies Inc, a Canadian public technology company offering Radio Frequency Identification hardware solutions.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and he is a Canadian Chartered Accountant.

Kypreos replaces former CFO Bruce MacInnis, who left the company on April 29th, 2011.
