ATLANTA--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Radiant Systems, Inc. ] (Nasdaq: RADS) today announced the launch of Quest Diversusa", a new concession point-of-sale (POS) terminal for stadiums and arenas. Debuting at Philips Arena, Diversus is the first hybrid POS in the industry and provides the ultimate flexibility in functionality and ease of use through a configurable touch screen and membrane keypad. Diversus joins the Quest Venue Manager product suite, which currently supports food, beverage and merchandise sales in venues around the world.

To avoid service interruptions, Diversus also comes equipped with a two-hour backup battery. Furthermore, the terminal serves as an extension of the point of sale, equipping managers with reports and other data on the touch screen so they can make immediate service decisions during the course of an event. Diversus will be widely-available in late 2011, and Radiant Systems expects to launch DiversusAir, a portable wireless touch screen terminal, early next year.
