Smartcool Expands into Central &; Eastern Europe with a New Distributor

VANCOUVER, May 4 /CNW/ - [ Smartcool Systems Inc. ] (TSX-V: SSC) has signed a distribution agreement with Bricks & Bits Inc., a provider of energy efficiency solutions throughout Central & Eastern Europe.

Bricks & Bits Inc. provides significant expertise and an impressive list of existing clients, including Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Hilton Hotels, Carrefour, Tesco, Danone and many others.  The distribution agreement has a five-year term and provides for a minimum purchase of $2.5 million for the duration of the contract.  Bricks & Bits Inc. has received non-exclusive distribution rights for Smartcool's ECO^3TM and exclusive distribution rights for the ESM^TM for sales in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Daniel Schlitner, President of Bricks & Bits Inc, is enthusiastic about the myriad of applications for Smartcool's products.
