



















Sale of NetWitness Highlights ManTecha?s Ability to Develop Products

FAIRFAX, Va.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--ManTech International Corporation (NASDAQ:MANT) has announced that, in connection with EMC Corporationa™s acquisition of NetWitness Corporation earlier this month, ManTech will record a pre-tax gain of $3.7 million in the second quarter of 2011. In October 2006, ManTech divested the NetWitness business in exchange for $2 million and a small equity stake in the ongoing enterprise. NetWitness is a network security analysis operation in Virginia that lets security teams detect and remediate advanced threats like insider threats, zero-day exploits, targeted malware, advanced persistent threats, fraud, espionage, data leakage and the continuous monitoring of critical security controls while automating the incident investigation process.
