DRAPER, Utah--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: FLXT) [ http://www.flexpoint.com ] today announced that they have manufactured sensors for two different major domestic automobile manufacturing Companies for advanced testing of specific safety products.

The Company is diligently working with an automotive manufacturer to finalize the preproduction requirements so that we can enter into a production contract for the 2012 model year as discussed in our Dec. 14, 2010 press release.

The Company is also working with a number of other manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers on other products for the automotive industry. Todaya™s announcement is in addition to the previously announced products. When all of the above are finalized, Flexpoint anticipates that these agreements will generate millions of dollars in revenue over the next few years.

Clark Mower, President of Flexpoint, stated, aWe are excited to be moving toward realization of an automotive production contract. These two newly announced automotive safety products are particularly satisfying because both are the result of successful earlier development and testing by separate automotive manufacturers. We have long felt that the robust nature and extremely rapid response times experienced with the sensor makes safety applications an ideal fit for our Bend Sensor® technology.a
