







Bird River Resources Reports Progress on New Well

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - Feb. 11, 2011) - Bird River Resources Inc. (CNSX:BDR) is pleased to announce that the drilling portion of a new horizontal oil well at 11-26-1-28W by Atikwa Resources has been successfully completed. The operator is now waiting for a fracing unit which is expected before month end. The well was drilled into the Spearfish formation and is light sweet crude. The well is located east of the town of Pierson, in south western Manitoba. BDR has a 5% gross and 4% net participation in the well.
BDR has a significant interest in the results from this well as it has recently acquired a 25% interest in several leases in the immediate area.
