Smith announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of all persons or entities who purchased the common stock of Beckman Coulter, Inc. (aBeckmana or the aCompanya) (NYSE:BEC) between July 31, 2009 and July 22, 2010, inclusive (the aClass Perioda). The class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Beckman provides biomedical testing instrument systems, tests and supplies for clinical laboratories worldwide.
