(NASDAQ: GNET), a leading provider of custom traffic and news reports to radio and television stations, announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mobile Traffic Network (MTN), has launched its traffic alerting system, the Global Alert Network, in Kansas City. This system is the first of its kind in the United States and will provide important, real-time traffic information to drivers in Kansas and Missouri.

The MTN system identifies accidents and delays and pushes audio traffic alerts automatically through mobile phones to drivers before they reach an incident zone. Drivers are able to maintain a ahands freea environment as audio reports are broadcast through the phone automatically and do not require the driver to answer or interact with the phone in any way.

MTN is working directly with Kansas Citya™s SCOUT Traffic Management Centre to provide premium-quality traffic information to motorists, including information on incidents, potential delays and possible diversion routes.
