


American Tower Corporation Announces Launch of Operations in Peru
BOSTON--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--American Tower Corporationa™s (NYSE: AMT) Peruvian subsidiary, ATC Sitios del Peru S.R.L., today announced that it has launched operations in Peru, where it recently entered into agreements to purchase up to 468 wireless communication tower sites from Telefnica del Peru S.A.A. The Company has purchased 131 of these tower sites, on which Telefnica del Peru S.A.A. is the anchor tenant, and expects to close on the remaining sites by the end of 2010, subject to customary closing conditions.
