STAMFORD, Conn.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Frontier Communications Corporation (NYSE: FTR) announced today an extension of its offer to exchange up to $500 million of its issued and outstanding 7.875% Senior Notes due 2015 (the a2015 Notesa), $1.1 billion of its 8.250% Senior Notes due 2017 (the a2017 Notesa), $1.1 billion of its 8.500% Senior Notes due 2020 (the a2020 Notesa) and $500 million of its 8.750% Senior Notes due 2022 (the a2022 Notesa and, together with the 2015 Notes, the 2017 Notes and the 2020 Notes, the aNotesa), for a like principal amount of its registered 7.875% Senior Notes due 2015 (the a2015 Exchange Notesa), 8.250% Senior Notes due 2017 (the a2017 Exchange Notesa), 8.500% Senior Notes due 2020 (the a2020 Exchange Notesa) and 8.750% Senior Notes due 2022 (the a2022 Exchange Notesa and, together with the 2015 Exchange Notes, the 2017 Exchange Notes and the 2020 Exchange Notes, the aExchange Notesa).

Frontier has extended the exchange offer related to the Notes so that it will now expire at 5:00 p.m. New York City time on August 20, 2010.
