RCN New York Commended by NY Public Service Commission for Providing Excellent Local Exchange Phone Service

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - July 20, 2010) - [ RCN ] (NASDAQ: [ RCNI ]), a local provider of all-digital television, high speed Internet and voice services, has been commended for the 11^th consecutive year by the [ New York State Public Service Commission ] (NYPSC)for the excellent level of service provided to customers in 2009.

Commendations are based on two measurements: Customer Trouble Report Rate (CTRR) and PSC Complaint Rate, and achievement of incentive plan targets on these two measurements. This is the 21^st consecutive year the Commission has awarded commendations.
