The recent additions to DCT's R&D team, Mr. Peng-Cheng Chen and Mr. Suleman Saya, are highly-experienced design experts in their respective fields and bring a combined 37 years of technical expertise to Document Capture Technologies.

Mr. Peng-Cheng Chen is a hardware engineer specializing in ASIC/ FPGA design with 18 years of experience. He has worked at various electronic design firms such as ACC Microelectronics, Cirrus Logic, and Oak Technology. Over the years Mr. Chen has designed a wide variety of hardware solutions, ranging from SDRAM interfaces, to CD-RW controllers, as well as an MP3 player chip. He graduated from National Taiwan University with a BSEE degree in 1986 and has an MSEE degree from University of Washington.
Mr. Suleman Saya is a senior software engineer with over 19 years of experience in designing, developing, debugging, and testing of embedded software. He has worked in telecom, networking and storage companies in the Silicon Valley, including: Siemens Business Communications, Adaptec Inc., Charles Industries Ltd. and LynuxWorks Inc. Mr. Saya graduated from California State University Chico in 1987 with a BS in Computer Science and minor in Mathematics. He has taught C/C++ and Embedded Linux at UCSC extension for over 13 years.
