COM DEV Wins Contract on Commercial Broadband Satellite

CAMBRIDGE, ON, Dec. 22 /CNW/ - COM DEV International Ltd. (TSX:CDV) today announced that it has won a contract valued at approximately CDN$7 million to provide waveguide and coaxial switches for a commercial broadband communication satellite. COM DEV expects to complete work on the contract by the summer of 2010 at its facility in Cambridge, Ontario.

"Broadband communications represents an important driver of demand for additional communication satellite capacity, and when combined with the need for HDTV transmissions and the natural replacement cycle, helps make for a robust commercial marketplace," said John Keating, CEO of COM DEV International.
